<image:title>What is CSA - What is CSA Community Supported Agriculture: Customers support the farm by pre-paying for produce before the seed is planted. This allows the farmer the means to buy the seed. In exchange, the farmer’s produce gets distributed to the members who helped with the initial cost of planting. It’s kind of like having your own garden…without doing the work! Wenninghoff Farm’s CSA is a 15-week program where the farmer packs your weekly bag of fresh-picked produce and has it ready for pick up at either the farm or another location. The 2026 season begins June 18 and runs through September 28. As a CSA member, you do not choose what is in the bag, but you do get a great assortment of fresh produce each week. We grow over 40 varieties of produce and try to include at least four different items each week in your bag. This great variety can be great motivation to think outside-the-box when it comes to your meal planning. Past and current members say having this wonderful variety each week inspires their creativity in the kitchen, and the recipes and storage tips are a fantastic bonus.</image:title>

It’s equally important to be using a sharpened knife, as my parents always use to tell me, a sharper knife is a safer knife. In a large bowl, combine lettuce, arugula, tomatoes, corn and avocado. Add in salt, pepper, olive oil and lime juice then toss well to coat. Fold in bacon and feta then divide evenly amount 2 plates. Serve!</image:caption>

Blend until smooth, then strain the liquid through a strainer to remove the pulp. Pour the strained liquid back into the blender and add ice. Blend again and serve in chilled glasses. You may also add a little fresh basil to the mix. You may want to add in a little sugar or stevia as well depending on how ripe your melon is. This drink is fantastic for a breakfast pick-me-up as well as a party drink. 1 blender full of fresh watermelon will yield about 1 quart of juice after blended and strained.</image:caption>

<image:title>Zucchini - Grilled Zucchini Rolls with Herbed Goat Cheese & Kalamata Olives</image:title>
<image:caption>Makes 8 to 10 rolls. Ingredients 1 very large or 3 small zucchini Olive oil Kosher salt Freshly ground black pepper 3 1/2 oz. herbed goat cheese 1 1/2 oz. (about 7 or 8) kalamata olives, finely chopped Directions Preheat grill to high heat. Slice a strip lengthwise from the zucchini to expose the inside of the vegetable. Discard or reserve for another use. Cut the 2 ends from the zucchini to make straight edges. Cut the zucchini lengthwise into 1/2-inch strips. If using a large zucchini, cut each of these strips in half crosswise. This won’t be necessary with small zucchini. Brush both sides of the zucchini pieces liberally with olive oil. Season well with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper. Lay the zucchini pieces on the grill at a 45-degree angle (for more attractive grill marks). Cook until the zucchini is very tender, but not mushy, about 3 minutes per side, moving the pieces during cooking to ensure even browning. Remove zucchini from the grill. Set a wire cooling rack on top of a bowl to give the cooling rack extra clearance from the counter. Drape the zucchini pieces on the rack to cool. This method will stop the zucchini from steaming will cooling. Place goat cheese in a medium bowl. Stir olives into the goat cheese. Spread a layer of the goat cheese mixture onto one side of each zucchini piece. Gently roll each piece of zucchini. Serve.</image:caption>
